General Details for size exchanges and warranty replacements:
- Engraving is not covered by the warranty and must be purchased for any replacement rings.
- Our rings typically cannot be repaired or resized like traditional metals. Rings sent for warranty work or size exchanges will almost always be completely replaced.
- Shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer. Vansweden Jewelers covers return shipping costs for one warranty claim or size exchange (USA orders only).
- Custom work is not covered by the warranty and replacement costs are the customer's responsibility.
Manufacturer's Defects. If your ring cracks or breaks from accidental damage, it will be replaced by the manufacturer's warranty. If your ring style is no longer being manufactured, a similar style may be substituted. Please note that the warranty does not cover normal wear, including scratches, as our rings are scratch resistant, not scratch-proof. We are not responsible for any sentimental value of the original jewelry. There is a fee to replace any lost or damaged stones. The warranty strictly covers the ring, not the inlay; inlay damage is considered normal wear and tear. Please be aware that some inlays are exposed and could be more prone to damage. Any third party alterations to our rings will void the warranty.
14k Gold Ring Warranty Details. For our custom made 14k gold rings, there is a 20% warranty and size exchange fee for gold rings after 45 days. Replacement rings are made to order; as such, there is a waiting period between returning your ring and receiving the new one. Typically these rings are created and ready to ship in 4-8 weeks (depending on the style), although occasionally it may take longer.
Warranty Details for International Orders. Shipping fees for warranty claims or size exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. Typically the return shipping fee is $25.00 USD.
